Foreverly House Ribbon Cutting

The Capital Region Chamber was proud to join community partners to celebrate the grand opening of Foreverly House, a transformative new housing option for women veterans and their children, located on Route 50 in Ballston Spa.

Until now, local transitional housing options like Guardian House, operated by the Veterans & Community Housing Coalition (VCHC), were limited to women without dependents due to strict federal regulations. Foreverly House fills that critical gap—offering a place where mothers who served our nation can rebuild their civilian lives without being separated from their children.

This milestone was made possible through dedicated leadership from the VCHC and strong collaboration across sectors. The ribbon cutting ceremony brought together Veterans Community Housing Coalition board and staff, the Capital Region Chamber, the Saratoga County Chamber and the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce. Representatives of Senator Tedisco, Assemblywomen Walsh and Woerner also supported the event.

The Chamber applauds the ongoing efforts of our nonprofit and public partners to ensure all residents of the Capital Region—especially those who’ve served—have access to supportive, inclusive housing.
