Fix Wellness and Beauty Ribbon Cutting

Capital Region Chamber Vice President, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Jason Benitez officiated the ribbon cutting at Fix Wellness and Beauty (Fresh Market Plaza, 664 Loudon Rd, Latham, NY 12110), a women owned Wellness and Beauty store.  Albany County Executive Daniel McCoy, Daniel Casale representing Senator Jake Ashby, and Colonie Town Supervisor Peter Crummey spoke at the event.

Shoppers will find an array of carefully vetted, clean products for health and beauty needs. But most importantly, according to Founder Anna Kintz, they’ll find a resource for wellness that is unique to the Capital Region.  Anna struggled as a parent of a special needs child who required products free from allergens and triggering compounds. With the lack of effective responses from traditional practitioners and nowhere to turn, she devoted her career to the personal care and wellness industries, and acquired a vast body of knowledge around high quality products with a foundation of clean ingredients. She then brought that experience to her own life as she faced the natural phases a woman’s body goes through. Clean products and supplements are critical to individuals focused on aging well, battling chronic disease, or living with special needs.

Anna, with her partners Vanessa Gabor and Gail Rawson, opened the doors to FIX WELLNESS AND BEAUTY,  where she has designed an innovative space that realizes her dream of transforming lives through a highly curated offering of products.   FIX WELLNESS AND BEAUTY offers an extensive range of skincare, haircare, body care, supplements, and makeup products, all of which are free from harmful chemicals. The store has been designed with customers’ needs in mind, offering a calming and welcoming experience with a modern and minimalistic interior.

FIX WELLNESS AND BEAUTY makes it a priority to bring the expertise of credentialed experts to its visitors. The store offers free yoga classes for the community to promote physical and mental wellness and relaxation, and a lecture series by functional medicine practitioners to educate and empower customers.  “What I learned on my personal wellness journey was that products are a huge portion of the experience,” says Anna.  Vanessa added that “having the support of your community and knowledgeable people you can turn to are just as important—that’s what FIX WELLNESS AND BEAUTY offers.”  The goal to provide members of our community with a local solution of clean and non-toxic products and resources to support a healthier and happier life has finally been realized.
