While America’s teachers work to navigate the educational challenges presented by COVID-19, the need for school supplies is more significant than ever. First New York has a long traditions of helping schools kick off the school year this year they have partnered with the Schenectady City School District. This donation will help the school district supply their students with school supplies that have been difficult to obtain during these trying times resulting from the pandemic. The donations includes 450 backpacks stuffed with school supplies along with 1,200 pocket folders, 900 spiral notebooks, 260 boxes of crayons and 700 highlighters to go out to the elementary and middle schools throughout the district.

First New York Federal Credit Union is proud to help the educators of the Capital Region and give their students the tools to be successful in the current school year.
