First New York Announces Julia Murray Promoted to Core Systems Supervisor

First New York Federal Credit Union is proud to announce that Julia Murray has been promoted to Core Systems Supervisor.  Julia was previously the Core System Administrator at First New York’s Headquarters.

Julia has been with First New York since 1989. She began her career as a Teller at First New York’s Niskayuna branch, was promoted to Member Service Representative and then became an Assistant Branch Manager/IRA Coordinator at the company’s Glenville branch in 1993.  In 2000, Julia was promoted to Systems Operator/Front Office Liaison. In 2005 she was promoted to Core System Administrator.

First New York Federal Credit Union was founded in 1937 as Schenectady Teachers Federal Credit Union and now operates six full service branches throughout the greater Capital Region.  The credit union offers traditional financial products found at many financial institutions including checking and savings accounts, share certificates and money market accounts, auto and personal loans, mortgages and home equity loans, and commercial deposit and loan accounts.  First New York Federal Credit Union also operates in-school branches run by student volunteers throughout the area, including Schenectady, Mohonasen, and Scotia-Glenville High Schools.
