Executives at EFFECTO Ribbon Cutting

The Chamber joins in their first robotic ribbon cutting for Executives at EFFECTO (Formerly Applied Robotics) in Glenville and community leaders were all smiles as the ribbon was cut for the reorganization and rebranding of their US manufacturing operation, which joins their other locations in Italy and Germany in producing tooling for robotic machinery. There were demonstrations for adults and schoolkids from the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District as well as from Schenectady, and company leaders traveled from Europe for the ceremony. Capital Region Chamber President and CEO Mark Eagan emceed the proceedings, joined by Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh and Schenectady County Legislator Michelle Ostrelich.
