September 17, 2025Everyday Warriors Donates $11,000 to Veterans & Community Housing Coalition from Annual Golf Tournament
Everyday Warriors, a local nonprofit organization, hosted its annual golf tournament on August 11, 2025, at Fairways at Halfmoon. With the mission of “Every day may be a battle, however, with our attitude and commitment, we WIN the war every time!”, Everyday Warriors continues to turn dedication into action for those who served.
This year, the Veterans & Community Housing Coalition (VCHC) was selected as a beneficiary of the tournament. Everyday Warriors proudly presented VCHC with a generous $11,000 donation, which will directly support the organization’s mission of providing housing and support services to Veterans in need.
The funding will assist with VCHC’s programs across the Capital Region, including their critical work with women Veterans and their children at Foreverly House. Additionally, these funds will help launch a future construction of two new housing units designed to mirror Foreverly House, offering safe and stable homes for women Veterans and their children.
“We are deeply grateful to Everyday Warriors for standing with us in our mission,” said Diane Nazzaro, Executive Director. “This generous gift will help us expand our services and ensure that no Veteran, especially women Veterans and their families, are left without a safe place to call home.”
The golf tournament brought together more than 100 golfers, sponsors, and community supporters, making a lasting impact not only on the Veterans who will benefit but also on raising awareness of the unique challenges faced by those who served.
