Ethan Allen Global Celebrating 90 Years in business!

Since 1932, Ethan Allen has been a leader in the furniture business and a major employer in the Northeastern USA (including 56 years here in the Capital Region). The company patterned its offerings after early American colonial style furniture with the brand “Ethan Allen” in honor of the great patriot and American hero of the same name. Ethan Allen’s retail store in the Capital Region (3 Wolf Rd, Colonie) was just remodeled with a 6,000 square foot showroom, and the company is in the process of rebranding as Ethan Allen Global with “a modern take on traditional furniture”. Ethan Allen is a destination for high quality American made furniture – approximately 75% of their products are made at workshops in North America.

The Capital Region Chamber was proud to lead their ribbon cutting celebrating all these milestones and reminding everyone that Ethan Allen has a great place to shop for quality furniture right at the bottom of Wolf Road. Joining us for the celebration were Meaghan Rossbach and her associate, Carmen from Senator Jake Ashby ‘s office, Mary Rozak representing Daniel McCoy – Albany County Executive, Peter Crummey Colonie Town Supervisor, and Village of Colonie Mayor Tom Tobin. Plus volunteer Ambassadors Ron Mason and Steve Weaver, store employees, customers and well wishers.

All 2023 ribbon cuttings of the Capital Region Chamber and its affiliates are sponsored by the Saratoga National Bank & Trust Company.
