April 9, 2021Epilepsy Foundation’s Confections in Chocolate is (virtually) Back!
The Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York will be celebrating their 33rd Annual Confections in Chocolate virtually on Sunday, April 18, at 11:00am. This year’s theme is A Brunch for Hope. Register by April 9th at https://bit.ly/ChocolateGala2021 or call (518) 456-7501.
Benita Zahn of WNYT NewsChannel 13 will be Master of Ceremonies and will be joined along with special celebrity guest Greg Grunberg, parent/actor/advocate and co-founder of TalkAboutIt.org. Grunberg is known from his roles in Star Wars and Heroes and has a child with epilepsy.
Registered guests will receive a Brunch Box to enjoy during the event, containing a box of chocolate truffles donated by Chocolate Sponsor Barkeater’s Chocolates, biscotti, maple syrup, jam, and other goodies! The event includes recognition of our Flame of Hope recipients, Greenwich Biosciences and Mr. Derrick Rumenapp, introduction of our 2021 Winning Kids, Giovanni LaBate and Sophia Olsiewski, and a chocolate pairing and tasting presented by Barkeater Chocolates to wrap up the event! Our amazing silent auction will also be available and will open on April 10th at https://event.gives/efneny.
