Ellie Mental Health Ribbon Cutting

On December 1, the Capital Region Chamber cut the ribbon for the first Ellie Mental Health therapy clinic here in the Capital Region, at Ellie Mental Health – Latham, NY. This isn’t your average therapy clinic, they’ve created a comfy, judgment-free zone where you can be authentic, get real about where you’re at in your mental health, and receive the compassionate care you deserve. Ellie Mental Health strives to break down treatment barriers and provide you with customized counseling services that meet your therapy needs.

As owner Lance Sprinkle put it, he wanted to create a comfortable place to allow clients the ability to see a therapist with ease and without an attached stigma while also creating an enjoyable environment for therapists to thrive and be themselves. And it sure looks like they have succeeded! The local clinic is part of a network of such therapy providers, which was founded in Minnesota in 2015.

Thank you also to Peter Crummey Colonie Town Supervisor for supporting the event as well as Meaghan Rossbach representing Senator Jake Ashby. My staff colleague Robin Martin was also there along with volunteer Ambassadors Rod Sipe, Ron Mason, Judy Martin Brinkman, Karen Burhans Laing and Ed Massa.

All 2023 ribbon cuttings of the Capital Region Chamber and its affiliates are sponsored by the Saratoga National Bank & Trust Company.
