Dannible & McKee, LLP to Host 23rd Annual Nonprofit Conference Featuring All-Female Speaker Lineup

Dannible & McKee, LLP, a leading certified public accounting and consulting firm, is proud to announce its 23rd Annual Nonprofit Conference, taking place on Thursday, January 9, 2025. This year’s conference highlights an inspiring all-female roster of seven expert presenters and promises to deliver essential strategies tailored for the nonprofit sector.

As the nonprofit sector continues to evolve, this virtual event offers invaluable guidance on addressing financial, operational and regulatory challenges. Attendees will gain actionable practical strategies to strengthen their organizations’ operations, enhance leadership effectiveness and ensure compliance in an increasingly complex nonprofit environment.

The conference will feature presentations by Dannible & McKee’s experienced audit, tax and accounting professionals, covering a wide range of impactful topics:

  • “Whose Role Is It Anyways?” Clarify the critical responsibilities of the Board of Directors and the Executive Director. This presentation explores how each plays a pivotal part in driving the organization’s success.
  • “Be Prepared, Avoid Hearing From the IRS and the Charities Bureau” Avoid common mistakes with Form 990 and state filings. This session will guide attendees on staying compliant and preventing audits or other costly errors.
  • “Got Grants? Are You Tracking Them Properly?” Learn best practices for managing and reporting grant funds in your financial statements, including strategies for handling complex grant structures.

Additionally, the conference will feature a keynote address by Gwendolyn (Gwen) Webber-McLeod, M.S.M., CPC, President/CEO of Gwen, Inc. In her presentation, “Perspectives on Change,” Webber-McLeod will share her expertise and provide actionable insights into building resilience and adaptability in a shifting nonprofit landscape.

The Nonprofit Conference is held virtually from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm and is open to anyone in the business community. Registration is free and can be made online at dmcpas.com/events.
