September 29, 2016CSSC Guides Seniors to ‘Explore the Possibilities’ of Healthy Aging
In celebration of National Active Aging Week, on Thursday, September 29 from 10am to 1pm at the Beltrone Living Center, Colonie Senior Service Centers (CSSC) will sponsor and host Explore the Possibilities Health and Wellness Fair. The event will provide answers and tips from area experts on fitness, nutrition, balance and more. Explore the Possibilities is generously supported by Interim Healthcare, CDPHP and Loudonville Assisted Living Residence.
This expo event has cultivated over 175 seniors in the past, and this year CSSC expects even more. Information and demonstrations on a wide range of health-related topics will be available for seniors of all ages to experience the possibilities they have available to them in their community. Healthcare professionals will be on site to administer shots, instruct dance classes, and demonstrate how to prepare healthy food options as well as suppliers of health, aesthetics, and anti-aging products and services.
Exhibitors at the event include Interim Healthcare, CDPHP, St. Peter’s Health Partners, HectorPT, Alzheimer’s Association of NENY, Shop Rite Pharmacy, Capital Imaging Associates, the Neurological Associates of Albany, and more.
