Creighton Manning Announces New Hire

Creighton Manning is pleased to announce Theodore Orosz, AICP, CTP has joined the firm as a Senior Technical Advisor. His experience in the transportation industry will benefit the firm’s existing and future public transit clients.

Ted is a certified planner with more than four decades of transportation experience. He worked for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority for many years including serving as the Director of the Manhattan and Bronx Bus Service Planning and Director of Long Range Planning. For the past seven years, he has been a planning consultant advancing Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) projects. Ted has a master’s degree in Urban/Environmental Studies from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. With his wealth of experience in the industry, including on key projects in New York and New Jersey among others, Ted will provide strategic input on the firm’s transit planning and BRT projects.

Doug Teator, Group Leader of the Transit Group at Creighton Manning stated, “We are excited about our newest addition to the team. Ted’s impressive background and transportation knowledge are assets to the firm and our clients.” Mr. Teator was promoted this past year to Group Leader in conjunction with the expansion of transit planning and design services. Mr. Orosz is a key member of the team particularly with regard to bus rapid transit planning and implementation, bus service planning and evaluation, transportation planning and bus priority.
