October 30, 2024Construction Set to Begin on Hyatt House Hotel at Mohawk Harbor
The Galesi Group today announced that construction on the new Hyatt House Hotel at Mohawk Harbor is set to begin this Wednesday, October 30. The new hotel will be built on the north side of the Harbor, adjacent to the new Mohawk Harbor Events Center, which is under construction.
Financing for the new Hotel is being provided by Community Bank.

The new hotel, being built by BBL Construction Services, will be five stories tall and include 100 rooms in more than 75,000 square feet of space. The Hyatt House will be the third hotel at Mohawk Harbor, joining the nearby 124-room Courtyard by Marriott and 165-room Landing Hotel at Rivers Casino and Resort. The new hotel will feature an indoor pool, expanded fitness facility, a bar with an outdoor patio overlooking the Harbor and a 50-person meeting room.
A fall 2025 opening is planned.
