November 9, 2017Concert to Support SICM on Sunday, November 12
A benefit concert is being held to support Schenectady Inner City Ministry (SICM), and all are welcome. The musical program will include short classical favorites, including: Variations on a Shaker Melody, Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring, Selections from Carmen, Selections from Peer Gynt Suites, The Blue Danube and Radetzky March.
The concert will take place on Sunday, November 12 at 3 p.m. at the Schenectady High School Auditorium.
There will be a free will offering, and proceeds will support SICM’s Jubilee—50th Anniversary Celebration, to be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2018.
Attendees are asked to please bring a canned/boxed food item for Thanksgiving Dinner for the SICM Food Pantry; for example: green beans, corn, stuffing, potatoes, cranberry sauce, pumpkin, yams, etc.).
