Community Miracles in Action Celebrates One-Year Anniversary

The Chamber, along with its Ambassadors, staff, and friends were on hand to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Community Miracles in Action (CMA) on March 7. The ceremony took place at its location in Cohoes- 298 Ontario Street. Later that evening, Glennpeter Jewelers and Diamond Center hosted Community Miracles in Action for more celebrations! More than 75 supporters were in attendance and enjoyed drinks and hors d’oeuvres provided by Glennpeter as well as dozens of raffle items.

Founded by Crystal Alesio in March of 2018, CMA is a nonprofit organization that provides a safe place for teens to go to feel connected with adults, set and achieve goals, all while building relationships with others who have similar interests. While CMA originally began with workshops that focused on robotics and music production, Alesio saw the potential for more and launched Louder Dreams in November 2018.

Louder Dreams provides workshops including lyricism, production, recording, music engineering, licensing, publishing and live events, with the goals of increasing entrepreneurship and professional interpersonal skills. Currently, Louder Dreams hosts about 30 teens/week and about half a dozen organizations utilize Louder Dreams Entertainment.

The Chamber wishes Community Miracles in Action many more years of success in serving local youth!
