The Community Loan Fund of the Capital Region has selected the first round of the COVID-19 Small Business Continuity Grant Program recipients. These grant awards will help stabilize these businesses and secure their future in the Capital Region.
Grants have been awarded to the following businesses:
- Malgorzata Staunches, Kids Closet Consignment Boutique LLC, Warren County
- Darlene Myers, MYERS DANCE STUDIO, INC., Schenectady County
- Natalia O’Connor / Florin Vlad, DANCE FIRE STUDIO & FITNESS, Schenectady County
- David Anderson, Anderson Construction Corporation, Albany County
- Lisa Groff, Active and Well Family Chiropractic, Fulton County
- Jennifer Dugan, The Makeup Curio, LLC, Schenectady County
- Patrick Kiley, Publication Studio Hudson, Rensselaer County
- Nancy Cobb, Spinning Yarn Tales LLC, Albany County
- April Weygand, April Fresh Cleaning, Inc., Saratoga County
- Bruce Kersting, Adirondack Chamois Inc., Fulton County
- Kathleen Leiback, Cafe Deli-icious, Rensselaer County
- Mark Yonally, B. Lodge & Co., Albany County
- Rockie Mann, JAFJR Construction Services, Albany County
- Milton Lee Evans , ReWire Group, Saratoga County
- Karen Maxwell, Kema’s Kreations, Albany County
The Community Loan Fund of the Capital Region says they understand the need is much greater and they will continue to solicit for funds to respond to the unprecedented need for small business assistance in the community.
In the interim, small businesses can continue to apply for the grant program through their website. Applications will be reviewed by a local steering committee, and decisions will be made as quickly as possible to ensure swift delivery of funds.
