February 2, 2017Community Foundation Invites Students to Apply Online for $500,000+ in Scholarships
The Community Foundation for the Greater Capital Region invites local students to apply for a wide range of high school, college and professional continuing education scholarships.
Application materials and guidelines for more than 40 scholarships are now available at www.cfgcr.org/scholarships.php. The Foundation has recently added online applications for all scholarship funds, making applying easier than ever. Most scholarship applications are due in early March.
The Community Foundation, in partnership with funds including the Phyllis E. Dake “Make Your Own” Scholarship Fund, and their geographic funds, the Bethlehem Central Community Foundation and the Niskayuna Community Foundation, awarded more than $503,000 in scholarships to 278 local students in 2016.
