Community Caregivers, Inc. Welcomes Meredith Osta as New Executive Director

Community Caregivers, Inc. has hired Meredith Osta as its new executive director.

Osta has been the Director of Volunteer and Community Engagement at Community Caregivers since 2020. She has an extensive background in program development, policy, and community engagement for non-profits. Osta brings with her over twenty years’ experience in both the public and private human services sectors. Osta holds a Bachelor of Sociology Degree from the State University of New York at Albany, NY.

Prior to her position at Community Caregivers, Inc., Osta was a Program Director at Welfare Research, Inc., a non-profit specializing in technical assistance to human service agencies. Prior to WRI, she worked for over a decade in child welfare at Schenectady County Children and Family Services.

Osta has lived in the Capital District for most of her life and is committed to serving those in the community. “This is our community, and I care deeply about it.” said Osta. “Supporting our older and often isolated neighbors is perhaps the greatest responsibility we have.’”

Scott Hicks, the Chairman of the Community Caregivers Board expressed his delight in her appointment. “We are extremely pleased to have someone of Meredith’s outstanding ability, compassion and drive heading up Community Caregivers Inc. I’m certain she’ll continue to grow our strong tradition of outstanding service to our community.”
