March 15, 2018Community Bank N.A. Welcomes New Commercial Banker to Growing Albany Team
Community Bank N.A. is pleased to announce Eric Magnano has joined its Albany team as commercial banking officer. Magnano brings to the team nearly nine years of experience in the financial industry.
In his new role, Magnano will work with veteran Capital Region banker Jeff Levy to expand Community Bank N.A.’s middle-market banking and commercial real estate financing throughout the Capital Region. He will be responsible for managing new business with present and prospective commercial customers, as well as maintaining current customer relationships. In addition, Magnano will oversee portfolio management and credit analysis for the Capital Region commercial banking team.
Magnano joins Community Bank N.A. from NBT Bank. During his nine-year tenure at the bank, he served in a variety of positions, including commercial credit analyst and cash management associate.
“Eric’s previous roles have given him a comprehensive understanding of the workings of commercial banking and provided him with excellent customer-service skills,” Community Bank N.A. Regional Executive Jeff Levy said. “He’s an important addition to our team as we continue to build a strong presence here in the Capital Region.”
Magnano earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Le Moyne College and his master’s degree in accounting from Southern New Hampshire University. Outside of the office, he’s active in his community and volunteers with Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York on its golf committee and with The Stakeholders as a board member. Magnano resides in Malta.
