Community Bank N.A. Promotes Ken Countermine

Community Bank N.A. is pleased to announce that Ken Countermine has been promoted to team leader of its Albany Commercial Banking team.

In his expanded role, Countermine will oversee all commercial loan and deposit origination, and portfolio administration for the Capital Region. He brings to the position nearly 25 years of experience in the financial industry.

Countermine has been with Community Bank N.A. since 2018, when the bank established a commercial banking office to focus on expanding middle-market banking and commercial real estate financing throughout the Capital Region. Prior to joining Community Bank, Countermine was vice president, middle market senior relationship manager with TD Bank.

I am confident that his leadership skills will help drive the continued success of our Capital Region team.”

Outside of the office, Countermine is actively involved in his community, serving as board member for the SUNY Schenectady Foundation and member of the Capital Region Chamber Finance Committee. In addition, he has contributed time within the Burnt Hills School District.

Countermine earned his Bachelor of Science in finance from Siena College and his Master of Business Administration in finance from University at Albany. He also is a graduate of New York Bankers Association’s Management School for Career Development. Countermine resides in Glenville with his wife, Kate, and their two daughters.
