Colonie Senior Services Center King Thiel II Ribbon Cutting

The Capital Region Chamber was delighted to be part of the ribbon-cutting ceremony for King Thiel II. Scheduled to open on August 1, King Thiel II will be the newest addition to their senior housing projects, featuring 99 affordable independent apartments. This three-story, 125,000 square foot building repurposes the former Colonie Elks property into a vibrant senior living community.

This year marks significant milestones for the Colonie Senior Services Center: the 40th anniversary of their Transportation Services and the 25th anniversary of the Beltrone Living Center (6 Winner’s Circle, Albany). With the addition of King Thiel II, their portfolio now includes 496 low-income and affordable independent senior apartments, serving over 20,000 seniors annually throughout the Capital Region.

Diane Conroy-LaCivita, Executive Director, has played a crucial role in these achievements. The Capital Region Chamber is proud to support such impactful community initiatives.
