Colonie Senior Service Centers to Hold Luncheon to Recognize Veterans

CSSC will hold its annual Veterans Recognition Luncheon on Monday, November 9 at the Beltrone Living Center in order to recognize the veterans in our local community and provide an event to build a supportive network and build relationships,

The event draws almost 150 Veterans plus their guests who wish to honor and thank them in a special way. For many in attendance it is a way to connect with friends from the past as well as build new friendships with others who have served.

Each year CSSC hosts the event to honor Veterans from all service branches. There will be a performance by the Tri-County Banjo Band at 10am and a Presentation of the Colors and recognition of each Veteran in attendance by the American Legion J. E. Zaloga Post 1520 at 11 a.m. The event will conclude with a lunch for the veterans and their guests.  The lunch is free for veterans and reservations are required.  Call 518.459.2857 ext. 303 for more information.
