BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. – March 3, 2017 — Colleen Pickett has been promoted to vice president of risk management at Ballston Spa National Bank according to Chris Dowd, president and CEO. Ms. Pickett will be responsible for mitigating areas of potential risk to the bank and supporting BSNB’s continued growth in an environment of increasing regulatory requirements.
Ms. Pickett joined BSNB in 2013 as a compliance and bank secrecy act officer and brings more than thirty years of experience in the banking industry to her new position. She received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the State University of New York at Albany and a master of science in public service administration from Russell Sage College.
Ms. Pickett is certified as a BSA/AML Professional and volunteers with Junior Achievement of Northeastern New York.
