Coldwell Banker Prime Properties, a locally-owned and operated full service real estate firm celebrating 30 years in business in Green Island, NY, welcomes Richard Barger as their new director of marketing & communications. In this new role, Barger will coordinate all day-to-day marketing activities of Coldwell Banker Prime Properties’ Albany and Syracuse regions.
“We like to think of ourselves as a locally-owned agency with national flair. It’s great to have that brand recognition and still be able to build one-on-one relationships with our clients,” said Barger. “I’m excited for the chance to further the growth of this company and the real estate agents with which we work.”
Barger says he was first introduced to the real estate industry by his grandfather who was a successful engineer and real estate developer. While pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business at Hartwick College, Barger owned and operated a popular Wappingers Falls bar and restaurant, giving him his first taste at selling real estate.
Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Prime Properties, Barger worked in marketing and sales for Rondout Savings Bank in Kingston, NY where he honed his marketing skillset.
“We are thrilled with the addition of Rich to our highly skilled team,” said Jim Long, broker and owner, Coldwell Banker Prime Properties. “His enthusiasm for this industry is apparent in his dedication to assisting the firm and its agents with our vital marketing needs.”
Barger is pursuing his MBA in marketing and communications from Southern New Hampshire University. A Kingston, NY native, Barger currently resides in Albany, NY.
