Coeymans Industrial Park Welcomes New Tenant, Dockside Logistics, LLC

Coeymans Industrial Park (CIP) and the Port of Coeymans are proud to welcome their newest tenant, Dockside Logistics, LLC (DSL), a comprehensive transportation and packaging company headquartered in Charleston, S.C. This new addition brings the total number of tenants leasing warehouse facilities in CIP to 15 businesses and the number of jobs affiliated with CIP and the Port to more than 300.

Dockside Logistics recently began their logistic and packaging operations in a 72,000 square foot warehouse building in CIP. DSL coordinates and manages complex packaging programs that incorporate deliveries from multiple vendors into one single, packaged delivery to ensure that all corresponding paperwork and pieces arrive to a recipient together.

About 35 new jobs will be filled in the coming months at the new warehouse, which serves as the company’s base of operations for business in the Northeast.

“Access to both shipping and trucking options was critical to best serve our customers and this location provided that vital access,” said Steve Young, managing member, Dockside Logistics. “Locating in Coeymans was an easy decision to make based on CIP and the Port’s capabilities. Necessary warehouse space was readily available with the option to expand if needed.”

This warehouse is one of four buildings on the 40 acres of developed land at CIP. All four warehouses are occupied with plans underway to continue developing the land and constructing more warehouses for current and new tenants.

“We’re happy to welcome Dockside Logistics as a new tenant to CIP,” said Carver Laraway, owner, Coeymans Industrial Park. “The Port of Coeymans and CIP combined provide 405 acres of industrial zoned property. We continue to grow and attract new tenants who need the easy access to highway and waterway transportation that our location provides.”
