Clifton Park Senior Community Center Cuts the Ribbon on New Pavilion

The Chamber was thrilled to help the Clifton Park Senior Community Center cut the ribbon on their new pavilion adjacent to the bocce court. The pavilion will serve to provide shade and seating for seniors and bocce players. Highmark Blue Shield of Northeastern New York sponsored the new addition with its generous support. Clifton Park Town Supervisor Phil Barrett dedicated the pavilion, supported by town councilpersons Lynda Walowit and Amy Flood, Sue Leonard, Seniors Center Director, State Senator Jim Tedisco, Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh, plus well wishers and volunteer Ambassadors of the Capital Region Chamber. Blue Shield was represented by Stephanie Krieger, Benefit Consultant, Consumer Markets.

The Clifton Park Senior Community Center is conveniently located on the Clifton Common in the Town of Clifton Park. The facility hosts numerous activities designed to enrich the lives of Clifton Park’s senior population. A $20/year membership to the Center allows someone everything the Center has to offer. Many daily classes, workshops, and activities are free of charge, while some programs require a reasonable fee. Rooms at the facility can be rented for private events and parties. For general questions or for rental information please contact the Center at 518.383.1343.

Thank you to ribbon cutting sponsor, Saratoga National Bank and Trust Company.
