Clifton Park Chabad Celebrates 18th Anniversary and Launch of New Building Program

The Capital Region Chamber was pleased to host a ribbon cutting ceremony in celebration of Member Clifton Park Chabad’s 18th anniversary and the launch of their new building program to create a Jewish center in Clifton Park. Joining Chamber staff, volunteer Ambassadors, and Chabad representatives were Senator Jim Tedisco, Amy Madden representing Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh, Clifton Park Town Supervisor Phil Barrett, and Deputy Supervisor Tony Morelli.

In Judaism, the number 18 symbolizes “life,” making this milestone, known as a “Chai” celebration, especially meaningful. The August 11 event was filled with uplifting music, entertainment, and tributes to the Chabad’s legacy of connection, growth, and shared purpose. The new building program represents an exciting step forward in serving the community and fostering continued growth.

We congratulate Clifton Park Chabad on this milestone and thank them for their investment in the Chamber and our region.
