Twenty-five years in business is a remarkable milestone, especially when it started with a leap of faith! Sisters Alia Khan and Roxy Maqsood transitioned from successful careers in banking to open Clifton Cleaners in Plaza 8 back in 1999. Over the past quarter-century, much has changed—from workplace attire to cleaning technologies—but Clifton Cleaners has continued to thrive, offering exceptional dry cleaning, alterations, and more.
In honor of this milestone, Clifton Park Town Supervisor Phil Barrett and Deputy Supervisor Anthony Morelli presented a certificate to Roxy Maqsood (2nd from right) and Alia Khan, co-owners of Clifton Cleaners.
In 2015, Clifton Cleaners was also recognized with the “Green Cleaner Award” after adopting environmentally friendly processing equipment, showcasing their commitment to sustainability.
