Clarkson University Capital Region Campus Volunteers with “Rise High”

Twenty students in sixth grade have spent the past six weeks learning about science as part of Rise High, a community group in Schenectady funded by the Little Family Foundation. The group’s mission is to teach participants about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) through hands-on learning.

Clarkson University’s Capital Region Campus in Schenectady helps sponsor their weekend science camp. The final weekend the kids learned about weather and imploded soda cans and an industrial drum.
