Chris Mayfield brought his dream and passion of cooking to the Capital Region. As a young boy growing up in Georgia, he watched and learned from his parents and grandparents how to make delicious, southern food. He brought and incorporated many of those same childhood recipes in his menu at Chris’s. The traditional southern dishes transports you from downtown Albany to the deep Georgia South. The Chamber and the city were on hand Friday, June 1 to officially welcome Chris into the Madison Avenue neighborhood. We know Chris is a hard worker and once folks start to taste his delicious cuisine we know it will be a huge success!
