February 26, 2018Chazen Hires Four to Troy Office
The Chazen Companies has added four professionals to its Troy office, expanding in the code, structural and land development groups.
Lauritz Rasmussen, PE, MPA has joined the Code Services group as a Senior Code Analyst. His experience includes mechanical design, code enforcement, municipal government management and, most recently, performing code consulting. Rasmussen received his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hofstra University, and his Master’s Degree in Public Administration specializing in Building Code Administration from Norwich University in Northfield, VT. He is a resident of Saratoga Springs and has held positions with Passero Associates, City of Saratoga Springs and New York City.
Jason Baird joins the Land Development group as a Civil 3D Technician. He is a graduate of Hudson Valley Community College where he received his A.A.S degree in CADD. Baird is pursuing his second A.A.S. degree in Civil Engineering and most recently worked as a CADD Operator for Maser Consulting. Baird resides in Troy.
Johnathan Gell has joined Chazen’s Structural group as an Assistant Project Engineer. Gell resides in Troy and received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University.
Averi Chan started with Chazen in the summer of 2016 as an intern. She has since worked part-time and most recently moved into a full-time position as an Assistant Project Engineer in the Land Development Group. Chan resides in Troy and received her M.S and B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy.
