November 27, 2018Chazen Continues Growth of Building Code & Life Safety Services in Westchester
The Chazen Companies is pleased to announce Marcus Veytia has joined the company as a Senior Code Analyst for the Building Code & Life Safety Services group at its Westchester office located at 1 North Broadway in White Plains.
Veytia has over 27 years of experience including fire protection and life safety services and building and fire code consulting. Veytia began his career with the Los Angeles County Fire Department Forestry Division but spent most of his fire service career in Hawaii. Over the next several years, Veytia served as a fire and life safety consultant in Toronto. One of the major accomplishments of Veytia’s career was his role as Fire Marshal during a five-year period that included major expansion of the Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Canada. This project, which involved a six-story addition to an existing twelve-story hospital tower, was both challenging and rewarding.
