Chazen Announces New Central New York Office, Hires Local Office Manager

The Chazen Companies, a leading provider of engineering, land surveying, planning, environmental consulting, health and safety training and landscape architecture services, today announced the opening of a new branch office in Central New York, and the hiring of an experienced local engineer to manage the office.

Eric Haslam, P.E. has joined Chazen as Director of Engineering Services and Central New York Office Manager. Mr. Haslam is a licensed professional engineer with nearly 20 years of municipal engineering experience, including water, wastewater and stormwater. He will lead Chazen’s growth initiatives in the Central New York region.

“Expanding into Central New York is a logical next step for Chazen as we branch out beyond our roots in the Hudson Valley,” said Chazen’s president, Mark Kastner, P.E. “We are excited about bringing Chazen’s breadth of services to Central New York, and we are confident in Eric’s ability to establish and grow a highly-successful branch office to serve our clients in the region. Mr. Haslam, a Fabius resident, has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Resource and Forest Engineering, cum laude, from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse. Throughout his career Mr. Haslam has been active in a number of professional organizations, including the American Water Works Association and the New York Water Environment Association.
