CHA’s Transportation Group Promotes Employees in Albany

CHA Consulting, Inc. (CHA), a highly diversified, full-service engineering and construction management firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of ten transportation staff in Albany.

Antonio D’Elia has been promoted to Engineer II in CHA’s Transportation Structures department. Antonio joined CHA in 2016 after earning a master’s degree in civil engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Barry Johnson has been promoted to Resident Engineer in CHA’s Transportation Group. Barry joined CHA in 1991. He more than 40 years of experience in highway construction and material testing.

Brian Healey, PE, has been promoted to Senior Engineer V in CHA’s Highway Technical Group. Brian has designed an array of highway and bridge projects for state and municipal clients. Over his 12 years with CHA, he has been involved with all aspects of federal aid projects.

Iana Headley-Kroll, PE, has been promoted to Senior Engineer V in CHA’s Transportation Structures department. Iana joined CHA in 2006 and has 15 years of experience in the evaluation and design of bridge structures. She calculates superstructure and substructure elements, creates 3D models, develops construction plans, and reviews shop drawings.

Lance Hunt, PE, has been promoted to Project Engineer IV in CHA’s Transportation Structures department. Lance has six years of experience in planning, analysis, design, and construction support services for bridge rehabilitation and bridge replacement projects.

Matthew Mokey, PE, has been promoted to Project Engineer IV in CHA’s Rail Technical department. Over the course of his 14-year career with CHA, Matt has collected field data, prepared preliminary plans, generated quantity and cost estimates, and reviewed contractor’s work. He received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Syracuse University.

Nicholas Bennett, PE, has been promoted to Project Engineer IV in CHA’s Transportation Structures Technical Group. Joining CHA in 2009, Nicholas has been primarily involved in the inspection and design of bridge structures, with a background in geotechnical engineering.

Nicholas Voerg has been promoted to Assistant Project Engineer III in CHA’s Transportation Structures Technical department. Nick has six years of experience performing structural inspections for state and municipal clients. He received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Cornell University.

Ryan Clark has been promoted to Engineer II in CHA’s Highway Technical Group. Ryan joined CHA in 2016 after earning his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Sarah Bowman, PE, PTOE, has been promoted to Senior Engineer V in CHA’s Traffic Technical department. Sarah is CHA’s pedestrian/bicycle facility specialist and has more than ten years of experience in pedestrian/bicycle facility planning and design, traffic modeling and operations analysis, and traffic signal system design. She was the recipient of the 2017 Women of Excellence – Emerging Professional from the Capital District Regional Chamber of Commerce.
