CHA’s Campus & Institutional Group Promotes Staff in Albany

CHA Consulting, Inc. (CHA) is pleased to announce the promotion of multiple staff members from its technical teams in Albany.

Joe Grasso, RLA, has been promoted to Vice President, Senior Project Manager II in CHA’s Facilities Group. For more than 25 years, he has planned and designed municipal, residential, commercial, institutional, and recreational facilities. Joe has presented at more than 1,000 planning board and town board meetings and served as a municipal representative for numerous Capital Region municipalities.

Emily Handelman has been promoted to Landscape Architect III in CHA’s Civil Engineering Technical Department. Emily joined CHA in 2015 and supports CHA’s site planning and design, landscape design and construction, and visual impact assessment services. She has focused on the landscape design, signage and visual assessment of streetscape improvement projects.

Heather Wyld, PE, has been promoted to Senior Engineer V in CHA’s Civil Engineering Technical Department. Over her 13 years at CHA, Heather has worked on land development, stormwater management and communication facility projects. She has prepared site plans and designs, acquired permits, and coordinated design team components for interdisciplinary projects.

Kolby Ziemendorf has been promoted to Engineer II in CHA’s Mechanical Technical Department. Kolby joined CHA in 2015 after earning his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Clarkson University.

Matthew Bleazard has been promoted to Engineer II in CHA’s Mechanical Technical Department. He received his bachelor’s degree in fire protection and safety engineering technology from Eastern Kentucky University.

Mike Farone has been promoted to Senior Engineering Designer/Technician in CHA’s General Structures Technical Department. Mike joined CHA in 2012 and earned his bachelor’s degree in architecture from the State University of New York at Alfred.

Mike Impicciatore has been promoted to Section Manager – Security Design in CHA’s Electrical Technical Department. Since joining CHA nine years ago, Mike has designed a variety of security systems for institutional, government and commercial facilities.

Olin Mather, PE, has been promoted to Project Engineer IV in CHA’s Civil Engineering Technical Department. Olin joined CHA as a water resource engineer in 2011. He has applied his expertise in hydrologic and hydraulic applications on bridge scour assessments, dam break modeling, sediment and erosion control planning, watershed studies, and various other projects.

Phillip Sutter has been promoted to Assistant Project Engineer III in CHA’s General Structures Technical Department. Phillip joined CHA in 2014 after earning his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Sarah Parks has been promoted to Assistant Project Engineer III in CHA’s Water/Wastewater Technical Department. She received her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering technology from the SUNY Institute of Technology and an associate degree in architecture, studies and design from SUNY Morrisville.
