January 5, 2018Chamber Goes to Albany
Last week you Chamber Advocacy Team testified at a Senate hearing regarding the NYS Department of Labor’s proposed employee scheduling regulations.
This proposal is bad for business, bad for employees and bad for the state. We let our elected officials in Albany know that if they really want New York State to be open for business, they should oppose these regulations and work with the Chamber on policies that will improve the state’s business climate. Thanks to the Senate, particularly Senators Amedore, Marchione and Tedisco, for reaching out to the Chamber on this issue. We are grateful that you took the time to hear our concerns and seek our suggestions on how to make our state competitive, grow jobs and boost our economy. We look forward to working with you on our Advocacy Agenda for Prosperity.
And thank you to all our valued members. Because of you our voice is stronger and Albany is listening.
