Chamber Board Adopts Five-Year Strategic Plan and New Vision and Mission Statements

While providing robust member services, the Capital Region Chamber and its affiliate organizations address challenges and seize opportunities to position our region for economic success and shared prosperity. At its December meeting, the Board adopted a new five-year strategic plan to guide the Capital Region Chamber and the Center for Economic Growth. The board also adopted revised vision and mission statements. Acting regionally to compete globally, and diversity, equity and inclusion are foundational elements of the plan, therefore will be embedded in the work.

United to Drive Economic Prosperity with One Voice, One Mission, As One Region provides a strategic framework for a more prosperous, equitable and resilient region. Focus areas are People/Workforce Development, Economic Development and Advocacy. Each year tactics will be developed and implemented to advance core strategies.

Through the strategic plan, we commit to business leadership and utilizing our collective capacity so everyone who calls the Capital Region home has access to opportunity, businesses thrive, attract investment and jobs, and improve our quality of life and quality of place as a community.
