CHA Announces New Staff in Albany

CHA Consulting, Inc. (CHA) announces four new staff have joined its Albany area staff.

Ronald Rogers has joined the firm as Associate Vice President and Manager of Corporate Health and Safety. Ron has more than 25 years of experience in the environmental health and safety field, including construction field experience. He is a Board-Certified Safety Management Specialist (SMS) and Certified Safety Manager (CSM). Ron comes to CHA from DA Collins Companies, Inc., where he served as Corporate Safety Director for five years. He received his bachelor’s degree in environmental health and safety management with a minor in fire sciences from Almeda University.

Jonathan Bard has joined the firm as regional counsel. Jonathan has 10 years of professional legal experience in New York. In his previous position, his practice focused on appellate litigation, commercial litigation, construction and surety, and professional liability defense. He received his J.D. with a concentration in finance from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School. He also has a bachelor’s degree in history from Le Moyne College.

Christopher Heimes has joined the firm as a project technician. Christopher previously worked as a business and project accountant for an energy engineering, procurement and construction firm. He was responsible for creating budgets, running payroll and handling contracts. He received his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University at Buffalo.

Alexander Burns has joined the firm as an assistant engineer. Alex is experienced with bridge reconstruction, stormwater management, water treatment systems, pump system design, and site planning. This experience includes implementing a water treatment business and systems in Ghana, as well as inspecting and providing quality assurance to reconstruct a bridge on Rt. 9 in Saratoga. He received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Clarkson University.
