Center for Disability Services Names New CIO

R. Daniel Shyne has been promoted to Chief Information Officer at the Center for Disability Services in Albany. Since October 2016, Shyne has been working as the Center’s Director of Information Technology, Infrastructure. An Information Technology services and business leader for more than 20 years, Shyne has experience in team building and in delivering advanced technology solutions for the in-house workforce and for business clients and patients.

The Center for Disability Services, a non-profit organization with a 76 year history, has more than 2,500 employees and 80 locations including education, residential, medical, transportation and office facilities.

Shyne previously held senior leadership positions at Finch Paper, ADNET and for the Troy City School District.

He has a Master of Business Administration from the State University of New York at Albany and a Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York at Oswego. Shyne served four years in the United States Marine Corps. He resides in Selkirk.
