Local politicians and members of the regional business community gathered at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Guilderland for a rededication ceremony to commemorate the many upgrades made since the facility was acquired in 2014 by The Grand Healthcare System. In addition to comprehensive staffing upgrades and rebranding the facility with new interior and exterior signage and providing staff uniforms, the Queens-based company has invested more than $1 million in renovations to the building’s lobby, common areas, dining room, recreation area and outdoor patio, as well as constructed a 2,000-square-foot rehabilitation room with state-of-the-art exercise equipment.
