Guests in February can win big and celebrate Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady’s lucky 7th Anniversary, the Lunar New Year, and Valentine’s Day with exciting gaming promotions, delicious food & beverage specials, fantastic live entertainment, and special room rates at The Landing Hotel.
This month’s highlights include a chance to win CASH during the For the Love of Cash! and 7 Days of Winning promotions, the return of Cage Wars MMA, Valentine’s Day Dinner at Dukes Chophouse, a Big Game Party at Van Slyck’s, Lunar New Year Lion Dance and Concert, FREE UFC pay-per-view, Country Nights at Van Slyck’s and other great live entertainment.
For the Love of Cash! – Guests in February will have a chance to win up to $5000 CASH during the Rivers For the Love of Cash! promotion. Until Friday, February 23, Rush Rewards members can earn 1 entry for every 25 points on eligible slot and video poker machines, and 2 entries for every 25 points earned on table games for a chance to win. Guests can also receive FREE bonus entries by swiping daily at the promotional kiosk. Every Friday in February at 8 p.m., 5 guests will be selected to spin the prize wheel and win up to $5000 CASH! Winners must be present and have three minutes to claim.
7 Days of Winning – As part of Rivers Casino’s 7th Anniversary Celebration, every day from February 1 until February 7, Rush Rewards guests can play the Lucky 7 Swipes kiosk game for a chance to win $1000 CASH! Young at Heart Wednesdays – Every Wednesday in February, Rush Rewards members ages 55 and older can visit a promotional kiosk to print a voucher for a free regular coffee or fountain drink at Flipt, Villa Italia or Johnny’s To Go between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., and play a free kiosk game from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. for a chance to win prizes including Slot Play and Dining Credits. Guests can also enjoy LIVE music EVERY Wednesday from 2 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at Van Slyck’s. On Valentines Day (February 14) the first 50 guests will also receive FREE roses.
Cruise into Rewards – Rush Rewards members can take a vacation at sea with MSC Cruises! Rivers’ Cruise into Rewards program grants Rush Reward members at all Rivers Casino locations an annual cruise benefit that applies to most of the company’s sailings worldwide. The tier status of each Rivers Casino Rush Rewards member determines the level of their yearly MSC Cruises reward. Black Tier and Platinum Tier Members will all receive benefits. Rush Rewards New Member Promotion – Any guest who signs up for Rush Rewards and earns 5 points on the same day as their sign-up will unlock a mini-game on a promotional kiosk for a chance to win up to $500 in Slot Play or Free Bet. Valid for new Rush Rewards members only.
Rivers Salutes – All military veterans and active-duty enlisted can visit Rush Rewards to pick up a new and exclusive Rivers Salutes Rush Rewards Card, which can be used for special discounts and offers. Must show valid military ID.
Country Weekends at Van Slyck’s – Country music nights are back once again at Van Slyck’s when fans will be treated to two fun-filled nights with live bands and a DJ. Tompkins Drive will hit the stage on Friday, February 2 and Whiskey Highway will entertain guests on Saturday, February 3. CMA winner and local radio personality Kevin Richards will keep the music going between sets both nights. Bands start at 8 p.m. and finish at 1 a.m.

Lunar New Year Lion Dance – On Saturday, February 10 at 5 p.m. guests can celebrate the Lunar New Year with a traditional lion dance. The dance will start in the valet lobby and end on the casino floor where guests may also receive lucky $2 bills. Guests are also invited to check out the Lunar New Year display in the valet lobby.
Big Game Party with DJ MixitUpNY – Guests can watch the Big Game and party with DJ MixitUpNY at Van Slyck’s on Sunday, February 11 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Starting at 5 p.m., the first 50 Rush Rewards guests can also print a FREE drink voucher from a promotional kiosk. Voucher is only redeemable at Van Slyck’s bar on the day of the event. The event is free and open to the public. Must be 21+.
POP 2000 Tour – It will be a pop vocal hits extravaganza when the POP 2000 Tour rolls into the Rivers Casino Event Center on Friday, June 28, 2024. Hosted by Chris Kirkpatrick of *NSYNC, and featuring performances by platinum-selling artists O-Town, BBMak, Ryan Cabrera and LFO, the POP 2000 Tour delivers the MTV TRL moments that will bring guests right back to the early 2000s.
