Celebrate Financial Literacy Month with Hudson Valley Credit Union

Hudson Valley Credit Union is excited to celebrate Financial Literacy Month throughout April, emphasizing a variety of resources for its members and the entire Hudson Valley community. This month, the credit union will focus on saving strategies, investments, and understanding inflation.

Financial Literacy Month is a great time for people of all ages to evaluate their financial situation and skills, and to take advantage of opportunities to become more familiar with terms and strategies. In 2022, HVCU implemented a free online Learning Center. With a variety of articles on topics such as fraud and security, saving for college, loans and mortgages, and retirement planning, the Learning Center makes it easy to find the topics you need to learn at your own pace Members and the general community can visit hvcu.org/Learning-Center for more information.

In addition to their online resources, Hudson Valley Credit Union also offers free financial education seminars throughout the year to schools and community organizations, helping individuals of all ages learn about saving, borrowing, general finances, and life skills. Providing financial education continues to be an important initiative for Hudson Valley Credit Union, with programs reaching more than 3,800 individuals in 2022.
