May 3, 2017Capital Roots to Host 30th Annual Spring Brunch
Capital Roots’ 30th Annual Spring Brunch will include a buffet brunch featuring culinary fare prepared by 125 restaurants, a silent auction with more than 100 items, an airline ticket raffle, and children’s activities celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Veggie Mobile®. The event is expected to raise more than $80,000 to benefit Capital Roots’ programs, including 52 Community Gardens, the Veggie Mobile, the Produce Project, Healthy Stores, Squash Hunger and more.
