Capital Roots’ 12th Annual Autumn Evening in the Garden

WHAT
: Capital Roots will raise $90,000 at their 12th Annual Autumn Evening in the Garden event. 350 guests will gather to sample culinary fare, highlighting fresh meat, produce and dairy provided by 40 local farmers and prepared by 20 of the region’s top chefs, bakers and dessert creators. The event also features music provided by The Neil Brown Jazz Quartet and beverage samples supplied by local beverage purveyors, including Adirondack Winery, Albany Distilling Company, Inc., Altamont Vineyard & Winery, Brown’s Brewing Company, Chatham Brewing, Common Roots Brewing Company, Harvest Spirits, Hudson-Chatham Winery, Nine Pin Cider Works, Rare Form Brewing Company, Saratoga Apple Hard Cider and Spill’n the Beans Coffeehouse & Bistro. Proceeds benefit Capital Roots’ programs, including 54 Community Gardens, the Veggie Mobile®, the Produce Project, Healthy Stores, Squash Hunger and more.
