March 7, 2023Capital Region Internet & Digital Equity Listening Session
The Capital Region Digital Equity Coalition is dedicated to promoting digital equity in the Capital Region of New York State. We are a group of organizations and individuals committed to ensuring everyone in our community can access affordable, reliable high-speed internet and the skills and tools necessary to effectively use technology.
The Capital Region Digital Equity Summit will bring together community leaders, policymakers, educators, and technology experts to discuss strategies for closing the digital divide in our region. The summit will feature panel discussions, keynote speakers, and breakout sessions focused on topics such as:
- Digital infrastructure and access
- Digital literacy and education
- Workforce development and digital skills
- Innovative partnerships and collaborations
Our goal is to create a roadmap for digital equity in the Capital Region, identifying concrete steps that can be taken by all stakeholders to ensure that everyone in our community can fully participate in the digital economy.
The Capital Region Digital Equity Coalition includes diverse organizations, each bringing their unique perspective and expertise to this important issue. Our members include:
