The Capital District YMCA Promotes Lisa Wolcott to Director of Operations at the Guilderland Branch

The Capital District YMCA is pleased to announce that Lisa Wolcott has been promoted to Director of Operations at the Guilderland branch.

As the Director of Operations, Lisa will oversee the daily operations of all branch activities to ensure that members, volunteers, and staff have an outstanding experience, every day, at the Guilderland YMCA.

“Lisa has years of dedicated, mission-focused service to the Y, and I look forward to all she will accomplish in her new role,” noted David Brown, President of the Capital District YMCA.

Currently, Lisa is the Director of Membership at the Guilderland branch. Prior to this role, Lisa successfully served for a year as the Director of Corporate Partnerships for our association, during which time she established 36 new partnerships, increasing association membership units and revenue.

Lisa will continue her role as Administrator for Circle of Champs. Circle of Champs is a program dedicated to improving the quality of life for children who’ve been touched by a life-threatening illness. As the administrator for this program, Lisa will form key partnerships with medical providers in order to introduce more children and families in the benefits of Circle of Champs.

Lisa is also serving our association as the Project Manager for LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, an evidence-based program that helps adult cancer survivors reclaim their health and well-being following a cancer diagnosis by creating a welcoming community in which survivors can improve their strength and physical fitness, diminish the severity of therapy side effects, develop supportive relationships, and improve their quality of life.

Lisa will begin her new role Monday, February 12, 2018. Please join me in congratulating Lisa.
