The Capital District YMCA Hires Becky Picciocca as Director of Annual Giving

The Capital District YMCA is pleased to announce the hire of Becky Picciocca as the new Director of Annual Giving for the association. In her new role, Becky is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating the association-wide Annual Campaign, from achieving campaign objectives to managing prospect contacts. Becky will also lead and coordinate association-wide planning and tracking
for the Annual Campaign as well as recruit and maintain donors.

“We’re excited to welcome Becky to our team, and look forward to her leadership as she assists branch staff and volunteers across our association, from providing training to creating compelling donor recognition that ensures a successful Annual Campaign,” noted Susan Fogarty, Chief Strategy Officer for the Capital District YMCA.

Most recently, Becky was Association Manager at Capitol Hill Management Services in Albany where she served as Executive Director for two statewide organizations. In that role, Becky lead sponsorship efforts, including creating sponsorship packages and sponsor target lists, performing outreach, cultivating sponsors, and managing sponsor relations.

In this role, Becky successfully developed new markets, increased sponsorship dollars and was the first point of contact for all association members. Becky kept the membership budgets on track and guided the Strategic Plan process.

Becky holds a Master of Communications Degree and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from the University at Albany.
