Bst & Co. are excited to recognize these highly-skilled individuals within the BST family. “Each of these professionals has a unique skillset and a track record of proven success. It has been gratifying to witness their growth and development and we are confident their appointment to these new roles will bolster our firm and benefit the clients we serve on a daily basis,” said BST & Co. Managing Partner Ron Guzior.
The appointments include positions in the following departments:
Audit & Accounting
- Milton L. Edmonds III, Senior Audit Associate
Edmonds leads a team of associates in planning audit and review engagements and specializes in working with clients from not-for-profit, commercial and government industries. He stays current with the latest accounting and auditing guidance, performing testing procedures and preparing electronic reports in accordance with the engagement plan, to gain sufficient information to prepare financial statements. Edmonds joined BST in 2022 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Endicott College.
- Tommy Miller, Senior Audit Associate
Miller leads a team of associates in planning audit and review engagements and specializes in working with government clients. He stays up to date on the latest accounting and auditing guidance, performing testing procedures and preparing electronic reports in accordance with the engagement plan, to gain sufficient information to prepare financial statements. Miller joined BST as an intern in 2022 and was hired as an associate later that same year. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Siena College and a Master of Business Administration from SUNY Albany.
- Jeremy A. DeBarr, Senior Manager
DeBarr specializes in providing thorough auditing services for clients in the government sector. His primary responsibilities as a senior manager are the oversight of audit engagement teams to ensure timely completion of audits; financial statement preparation; and the training and mentorship of audit associates and senior associates. DeBarr began his career with BST in 2015 as an associate. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from SUNY Albany and a Master of Science degree in Professional Accountancy from Syracuse University.
- Lorin Marra, Senior Manager
Marra specializes in planning engagements, preparing financial statements and reviewing audits and other attest engagements for privately held for-profit entities within the manufacturing, construction and distribution industries. Her expertise further extends to employee benefit plans, nonprofits and healthcare engagement audits. As senior manager, Marra supervises team members on the Audit & Accounting team. She joined BST in 2017 as an associate and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Science in Accounting from Siena College.
- Bri Muenkel, Manager
Muenkel focuses on clients from the manufacturing, construction and commercial business industries and specializes in employee benefit plans. As manager, she leads a team of associates in planning audit and review engagements, preparing financial statements and providing training to other colleagues. Muenkel joined BST in 2021 as a senior associate and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Accounting from SUNY Oneonta.
- Danielle Wilson, Manager
Wilson leads a team of associates on engagements, prepares financial statements and provides training to other colleagues. Prior to her promotion as manager, she served not-for-profits, government agencies and commercial clients on the Audit & Accounting team. Wilson joined BST in 2019 as an associate. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Science degree in Professional Accountancy from SUNY Albany.
CFO for Hire
- Erin Herrmann, Manager
Herrmann works closely with small businesses and not-for-profits to create financial visibility through oversight of bookkeeping, preparation of monthly financial statements, budgeting and forecasting, client interface and creating custom reports to help them effectively run and grow. She joined BST in 2017 as a senior associate and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Siena College.
- Matt Jones, Accounting Manager
Jones oversees new client assessments, onboarding and engagements, providing small and medium businesses with bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, analysis and consulting services. Internally, Jones works to train and further develop the skills of his team’s accounting practices and procedures. His areas of focus include serving companies in the medical and entertainment industries, membership and not-for-profit organizations. He joined BST in 2017 as an associate and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Bryant University.
Virtual Accounting Solutions
- Becky Hull, Outsourced Senior Controller
Hull is responsible for overseeing accounting and reporting of for-profit clients in BST’s Virtual Accounting Solutions (VAS) division. Her tasks include the review of monthly data, initiating client interface and creating custom reports and dashboards that assist clients with business operations. Internally, Hull focuses on team development and the enhancement of the division’s internal documentation to create efficiency and ensure client success as technologies evolve. She joined BST in 2022 as a virtual controller in the VAS division. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY Geneseo and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Human Resources from Southern New Hampshire University.
- Mike Evans, Accounting Manager
Evans uses his extensive knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow and budgeting to prepare clear and concise monthly financial reports for his clients. He has served government agencies and not-for-profit organizations for half a decade. Evans joined BST in 2017 as an associate and moved to the VAS division in 2021 as an accounting specialist. He earned a Master of Science degree in Accounting from The College of Saint Rose.
