BSNB Names Student Interns for 2017

Ballston Spa National Bank recently welcomed the arrival of two student interns at their Corporate Offices in Ballston Spa.

Maja Stjepanovic of Saratoga Springs, N.Y. will be interning with the marketing department. Going into her senior year at Skidmore College, she plans to graduate in May 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in management and business. Following graduation, Ms. Stjepanovic is looking to enter a master’s program to obtain her MBA. During her time at BSNB, Ms. Stjepanovic will complete market research, draft social media and website content, create digital signage and assist with BSNB events, sponsorships and promotions.

Nicholas Pascucci of Ballston Spa, N.Y. will be interning with the credit department. Mr. Pascucci has completed his sophomore year at Marist College with a major in business administration. He will be transferring to the University at Albany in the fall of 2017. Mr. Pascucci will spend his time at BSNB completing financial statement analyses, performing vendor analyses, preparing annual reviews, and participating in loan requests and joint customer site visits.

The year-round paid internship program has been active at BSNB since 2013. Positions are open to undergraduate students entering their junior or senior year, and pursuing degrees in marketing, business, or finance. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. The interns are responsible for a wide variety of tasks and are expected to work up to 16 hours a week during the school semester and full-time during breaks and over summer vacation.
