Ballston Spa National Bank (BSNB) today announced Samantha Ross, Assistant Vice President, Retail Banking Administration/Security Officer, has successfully completed ICBA Education’s Certified Bank Security Officer program, earning the respected Certified Community Bank Security Officer (CCBSO) designation.
The CCBSO program, accredited by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), is a comprehensive certification that focuses on the essential principles of community bank security. Ross attended the recent ICBA Bank Security Institute, where she completed in-depth coursework and passed a rigorous examination covering the fundamentals of bank security.
This achievement reflects Samantha’s dedication not only to her own professional growth, but to the integrity and security of Ballston Spa National Bank. Her commitment to continuous improvement and mastery of evolving security standards aligns with BSNB’s strategic focus on innovation, learning, and operational excellence.
Samantha Ross has been a valued member of the BSNB team since January of 2024. In her current role, she oversees operational performance of retail branch networks staying current with policy, regulatory requirements and strategic branch initiatives. She provides a level of support to retail management and branch colleagues via coaching, training and mentoring to ensure compliant and exceptional customer experience. This position is also responsible for the bank’s security program inclusive of physical security and fraudulent transactions.
